CAD to PDF problem

CAD to PDF problem

(OP)
I'm having issues when converting a CAD file to PDF using ADOBE Pro 9.  Upon completion of the PDF every once in a while the PDF will be missing text or drawing artifacts.  If the same file is re-PDFd the file comes out fine.

Any suggestions???

AutoCAD 2008

RE: CAD to PDF problem

I use the freeware PDF generator at: www.primopdf.com

I've never seen it fail.

RE: CAD to PDF problem

Your ACad should have an DWG to PDF option in your list of printers. Choose this option and print the same way you would to paper, it will then prompt you to choose a location where you want to save your file. If you do not have this DWG to PDF option, I downloaded my PDF995 writer direct from Adobe for free.

Hope this helps, Jamie.
