autofill sql question

autofill sql question

autofill sql question

I am using the autofill wizard to fill a service price field on an invoice and I would like to modify the sql (if possible) to select a specific column from the database (access) that is input into the form in a previous field. This can change with every invoice. The autofill wizard gives this sql: SELECT `2`, `Notes`, `Account #` FROM `Client Service Pricing`. I have changed `2` to             `[Servicecode]` and it passes the validation test, but nothing shows up in the amount field on the form. With the sql left the default the wizard gives, I do get the correct price in the correct field on the form. I don't know much about programming and what I have done is from hours and hours of trial and error and some online help. If anyone can help me on this, it is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
