Tried every removal instruction, trick, and tip to completely remove Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition Version 10...and I've had no success. I still get the warning when installing other Antivirus software that "Symantec Antiviurs" is present. Also, Belarc Advisor reports "Symanted" as being the Antivirus program. I cann't find any trace of it in the registry or in any folders...but it still lurks there somewhere....slowing things down at times, I believe. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Try downloading and using Glary Utilities (free), it should find the remnants in the Registry and fix them.
Did you uninstall using Windows or the Symantec uninstall?

Thanks Serv and Bad. Glary still didn't get rid of it...and I tried running the removal tool for the xxxxth time. It finds that the Antivirus software exists but tells me i must remove through "add/remove" programs. Of course, it isn't on the "add/remove" list. Like I said...relentless.

Last option is searching the Registry for Symantec and deleting everything it finds.
As always, backup first.

Serv...can't do that either....using Ghost and pcAnywhere on same PC (Symantec). :( relentless :( Thanks.

That took some time but I think it worked. Thanks ctopher06!!!!
