I'm a relatively new user to InDesign. I already sought and got help from this site. Special thanks to Apep who helped me so much. I'm in the finishing job of three magazines. So far so good. However, my problem is this: all of a sudden I wanted to use the selection tool and instead of the usual pointer there cropped up the "hands" tool to move things. I tried to use other tools and always got the hands tool (but the proper tool remains selected!). In reality I was, at that time, following a tutorial (video) on creating object styles. Is there some hope of retrieving the usual tool functions...otherwise all lthe material of the magazines I mentioned will have to go down the drain.
