I have problem with Telephony services IP H323 playback service.
We have 3.1 NP and working with Avaya PBX.
first of all, our Nice Playback  Telephony Services working fine along with HMP SW.Avaya engineers ensured us that they tried to configure switch for playback.anyway
the problem is   that when we start to  nice player (manual dial on that typing extension numbers, no prefix used here ),
then  phone is ringing and picking up  suddenly system  gives us  error messages  like general  error occured,contact with administrator and no voice on phone.
we are not sure that problem is the nice side or avaya.
I would be happier if someone is familiar IP playback services..

Hi,

I have seen this behaviour before and it was caused by incorrect Audio Codec configuration on the IP trunk setup on the switch.  We also had to mess about with the Far-End Network Region settings to get this working.  

Do you have the Telephony Services Installation Guide?  There is a comprehensive  guide that details the Avaya setup for H.323 Playback... This came in very handy when we were setting this up.

Problem has been solved by changing  parametre on Avaya site Admin.
