Paint Shop upgrade 9.00 to 9.01 Problems!

Paint Shop upgrade 9.00 to 9.01 Problems!

(OP)
Hi:

I had Paint Shop Pro 9.00 installed on my computer and it was fine and installed with no issues.

Then I installed the 9.01 (US English 32.8MB)update as well as the subsequent 9.01.1 patch and NOW I can't get it to open at all. Instead, I keep getting the same error message every time I try to open the program.(see attachment)

I might mention that I've installed and un-installed around six times with the same results. I've used Registry Mechanic to get rid of ALL the leftover(lingering) files BEFORE trying to re-install with the same end result.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
