NP3.1 playback 8.9 DVD RAM

One of our customer is going to upgrade to NP3.1. They are asking if their existing 8.9 DVD RAM archived calls able to use Nice Perform interface to playback those DVD RAM without any calls records in NP system? We know that 8.9 there is analyse external media , wondering if NICE Perform 3.1 have something similar?

RE: NP3.1 playback 8.9 DVD RAM

Hi, EsmondChoo
You need call records to find the calls in Niceperform. If you need to seach by channel you need an 8.9 cls and nice query.

Regards Johan

RE: NP3.1 playback 8.9 DVD RAM

hi,

ok if u are keeping the same logger and using it in perform system then u have a couple of options

1. insert the media and retrieve the relevant calls for channel time/date e.tc.
use channel monitoring and use find audio option to find call retrieved onto logger

2. insert archive media and retrieve call. enable trs if extension side system doesnt work with trunk side and the call will be inserted into database with basic user information. the trs can go back 1 yr to search on logger for calls with no tickets in database

3. Upgrade 8.9 system to 3.1 so everything is queried by en d user

4. leave admin p.c 8.9 onsite and allow them to search old system either by channel if cls has been removed or cls

Thanks for all the response.

By the way, the find audio tool is just a tool to replay from the Start time to End time and without any call list.

Probably, we will go for DB migration and upgrade the existing 8.9 Logger to 9.12 just for retrevial of DVD RAM as the New VOIP Logger is on VMware which do not support archive device.
