Enhancements to MAS200 Effecting Reports
Enhancements to MAS200 Effecting Reports
(OP)
Hello All:
I have a 4.20 version of MAS200 with a custom report that we are trying to modify. Modifications to the report (in crystal 10) are not working. I think this may be due to an enhancement created by a third party to InventoryManagement. Is there a quick way to confirm my theory without involving the 3rd party author of the enhancement?
Thanks In Advance

RE: Enhancements to MAS200 Effecting Reports
1. Told us what tables you are using.
2. Why the report is not working or what is happening.
3. What you are trying to report on.
4. What the enhancement does.
5. What report you are trying to modify.
RE: Enhancements to MAS200 Effecting Reports
The two tables on the report already are:
IM1_InventoryMasterFile
IM_OBReorderPointFile
The report needs a date range that works off InvoiceDate from the AR_OpenInvoice.InvoiceDate field. The report we are attempting to modify is UsageSummaryCustom.rpt report.
When adding the date range to this report using the InvoiceDate field the report goes blank; no data is displayed. So, as an experiment we tried adding a date range on the DateLastRecpt field of the IM1_InventoryMasterFile table. When trying this, the report runs as normal, however, the date range is ignored completely, and we get data that is outside the range that we specified when running the report. As to what the enhancement does We are still negotiating with the author of the enhancement to determine what the enhancement does.
Thanks In Advance

RE: Enhancements to MAS200 Effecting Reports
1. Was the AR file part of the original custom?
2. Why is the AR file important?
I doubt the MD is the problem.
RE: Enhancements to MAS200 Effecting Reports
This is NOT a good thing. The master developer should be able to tell you right off what the enhancement does. Also based on what you have posted here and on the Sage Community it appears this report was designed by the master developer. You would need to get with them to determine how to best acheive your desired results.
