Exported pdf went MIA

I followed steps Andrew aka apepp suggested for creating a pdf file from a Quark document.

I feel like a nitwit even admitting this, but I can't find the file that got created. It did not appear in the folder it was exported to, nor did it turn up in a search by filename.

What did I do wrong? Am I stupid as I feel even asking these questions?

Thanks for your help. I hope I am not beyond it.

RE: Exported pdf went MIA

...If you are not able to find the PDF file, it is likely that it was not produced and you are still experiencing problems in your previous thread.
