Which processes needs to be restart after completing this?

Thanks for the support......

RE: how to add devices in CLS ?

hi,

its done in system administrator under cti interfaces/driver

Once completed restart all Nice processes on interaction server so that new devices events can be monitord from aes

RE: how to add devices in CLS ?

I fairly new to the NICE Perform system but here is little cheat sheet I user for Nortel system. It should be similiar to other PBX types with a few modifications here & there.

1.  Add sources (all sources) in Integration in system administrator under CTI interfaces

2.  Under Drivers -> Monitor Devices add interfaces to be Monitored Devices

3.  Under Drivers -> Device mapping add a map from the secondary line to the primary line (only if you need to)

4.  Under CLS Definitions -> Sources Definition add the primary line as a source

5.  Under CLS Definitions -> Static Mapping add a static map for that source to a logger channel.

6.  Under the user add an agent ID/Extension for the primary line only.

Don't forget to save each time you make a change, according to NICE Support the "Update Configuration" button should restart required services but that does not seem to be the case all the time.  As "nicetechie" indicated, you will have to restart the CLS/Ineraction Services on the server.  If the Installation tech. was nice enough, they should have grouped all those services together and left an icon on your server desktop.  hope this helps.

note: restarting the services will stop recording, so you may want to do this when no active recording.

RE: how to add devices in CLS ?

for Avaya and nice 8.9

1. Add user to administrator
2. Add extension to logger definition tools (if not monitored)(do not add agent id.)
3. Add user to AES
4. Make 'STOP CLS'
5. Make 'STOP' on loger server
6. Restars AE server (service manager trough web interface)
7. Start CLS (Wait 5-10 minutes) (When you see all stations have been monitored
8. Start Loger

That's easy no ? hahaha

tell me if you need help
