Hi,

I have been using 'a2ps', via CUPS, on a Suse Linux system to print via a Windows network printer (port:9100) for a couple of years without problem. However the printer has now been changed for a cheap 'n' cheerful one that does not support PostScript printing. The more I trawl through the Internet the less clear the solution becomes. I have found reference to filters in /usr/lib/cups/filter but no clear indication as to how to set this up.

Rather than spend even more hours on the web I though I would ask if anyone had the answer or knew of a suitable URL.

Many thanks,

Young Codger [BigGlasses]
