Bandwidth Issue

Bandwidth Issue

(OP)
We have 4 locations sharing an 3mb internet in am MPLS cloud and during the afternoons it slows way down.  Is there a free software that can monitor all IP's at each location?

RE: Bandwidth Issue

what kind of gear are you using at each location?  can you do some sort of QOS or Police policy?

RE: Bandwidth Issue

(OP)
Just unmanaged switches.  The issue is during the afternoon hours the internet slows down greatly and there should be no reason.  I am wondering if an employee is bringing their laptop and it might be infected.  I need something to be able to monitor all subnets for usage.

RE: Bandwidth Issue

then you need a sniffer or device that can give you that info.  you can set up a linux box inline and install some gui app that gives you that data. how many computes are you talking about?
