(OP)
Hi all, im doing a fresh installation of sccm. i want 2 get everything right this time so im going thru the manuals. it says

Quote:

•    SQL Server 2005, Service Pack 2 is the only version of SQL Server supported for hosting the Configuration Manager 2007 site database.
•    SQL Server 2005 Express is not a supported SQL Server 2005 version for hosting the Configuration Manager 2007 site database.
•    The SQL database service is the only SQL Server component required to be installed to host the site database.

does this mean i cannot use sql 2008. i used sql 2008 but i got so admin priviledge issues...lemme try again

RE: fresh installation

Sql 2008 is an approved version of SQL for SCCM and SCOm but you need to install a hotfix.

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.
