Tivoli Integration & PR3.1

what version of tivoli is it ?

Have you got a NICE storage center installed what version ?

Is it 8.9 or perfrom. Have you installed the tivoli client on storage center and configured it and have you configured the storage center to point to tivoli.

I have a P3.1
the tsm client 5.5.1 and the Sal Tester is not working.

sal (storage abstraction layer) should be only be used by experienced personnel. is the storage center archiving to tivoli. check storage center investigator

hi,

in perform 3.1 you add the storage center to the system administration.

then you configure the storage group/units by right clicking on storage center icon within perform system admin in here you select to integrate with tivoli.

now you must also install the tivoli client 5.5 on storage center. as you configuring storage center to integrate with Tivol it asks for user name and password as well as file paths of where the tivoli client is installed. make sure you configure the tivoli client first and then storage group afterwords.

don't you have to also add tsm client location to o/s path environment variable on the storage center?
