Adding agent extensions to the CTI Driver set up

Adding agent extensions to the CTI Driver set up

(OP)
Not sure of the best way to ask this so please bear with me.
We have NICE Perform 3.0 and when adding users the last step is to add the agents extension in at the CTI Driver Set Up field on the server. In order to get the system to recognize the number we then have to do a CLS restart.
My question is why can't we add all the extensions (approx 3,000 total)at once and do only 1 more CLS restart. The NICE folks say not to do it but give no reason other than "you shouldn't do it".

RE: Adding agent extensions to the CTI Driver set up

What's your integration dude?

RE: Adding agent extensions to the CTI Driver set up

if you all 3000 exts the driver will take along time to monitor.also if it fails to monitor more than 50% it wont monitor anything. the cti events also for one interaction server with 3000 may cause to call server to miss events and not record calls. is it a total recording or  selective solution, trunk ext dynamice static mapping

RE: Adding agent extensions to the CTI Driver set up

Upgrade to 3.1, there are less requirements to restart.
