Setting up DSS Unit

Setting up DSS Unit

I need to program a DSS unit to a users station. I have already setup an extn on the unit but have been unable to find the programming process to tell the system that extn is a DSS unit. Anyone have the process? Or know where it is in the user guide. THanks

RE: Setting up DSS Unit

Flash 50, put in the ext range for that ext. (example: 101 101 HOLD).  I believe it is page B and button #1.  Best way I remember is to go in and press 1 HOLD, 2 HOLD, ect until you see the DSS show up in the LCD screen.  I believe though when you do the DSS you have to add the ext it is tied to as well.

RE: Setting up DSS Unit

Thanks, I got it. The part I was missing was programming the DSS extn to associate with the voice extn.
