Updates for X64 Machines with SMS

(OP)
Hi all,

I'm currently experiencing trouble deploying MS updates to workstations under Windows XP 64 bits using SMS. It looks like the Scan Tool is not installed correctly. Hardware Inventory is performed correctly but as soon as I try to deploy an update I get this message in PatchInstall.log :
"Unable to get VP cache path, Error return (2)"
and
"Error in getting the scan program name and command line, Scan will not be called"
Then it fails.
The X64 workstations are part of the Microsoft Updates Tool and Windows Update Agent x64. Everything works great for the x86 computers.

If somebody has an idea, it would be great.
Thanks

Well, it seems everything is ok now. I did not do much. I think I was running updates that were not compliant.

I updated several things yesterday and it was a success.

If someone can shed some light over this I'll be happy but it now works fine.
