NAV CE 7.5 vs. NAV CE 7.6

NAV CE 7.5 vs. NAV CE 7.6

NAV CE 7.5 vs. NAV CE 7.6

(OP)
Has anyone received Norton Anti-Virus Corporate Edition 7.6 yet for their networks?  We're running 7.5 right now.

I'm wondering if there are any major differences in performance and administration.

We're almost due for a license renewal and would like to know more about this version other than the marketing handouts!

Thanks in advance.

RE: NAV CE 7.5 vs. NAV CE 7.6

I'm using NAVCE 7.5 too, and have problems regarding conflicts between Terminal Server and AMSĀ².
Symantec people told me that NAVCE 7.6 solves this problem.
Me too would like to hear opinions other then Symantec's.

RE: NAV CE 7.5 vs. NAV CE 7.6

The major reason for NAVCE 7.6 is compatibility with Windows XP, 7.5 is not compatible. But Symantec did also make some fixes. I have not received 7.6 yet but should be soon since XP is released this week.

Thanks for the insight.  Hopefully I'll be getting a copy here in the next few weeks, and I'll just have to see what the fixes are.

I got a bulletin e-mail and here's some scoop on NAV CE 7.6.  This is in case some others don't get the bulletins!

I'm using 7.5 also.  I just received 7.6 but I haven't done anything with it yet.  I may just use my new licenses for mor 7.5 installations.  If you hear of any good reason to switch i'd be interested.

RE: NAV CE 7.5 vs. NAV CE 7.6

The only real compelling reason I have heard is Windows XP compatibility.
