Indenting a table

Indenting a table

Indenting a table

(OP)
Hi,

I've worked out to indent text in a table but not how to indent the whole table -- can anyone help?

Many thanks,
Sam

RE: Indenting a table

Select the whole table like you would text. Then choose your indent. Don't click inside the table, click around it.

Thanks. Is it best to indent through Table Options, Cell Options, or the Paragraph panel?

RE: Indenting a table

The table is considered part of the text. So when you indent the table you have to do it through the paragraph panel.

Indenting from the table and cell panel will only include indents for the cells and the spacing.

Treat the table as part of the paragraph. Treat the elements in the table as, well a table.
