Hello All,

Does anyone out there know how to connect a Realitis DX or iSDX to a Seltek Voice Manager PC running 4.7 software, please?
The Seltek Voice Manager 4.7 Manual says that the Seltek is compatible with Siemens but does not give any further guidance.
As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Telecoman.

RE: Interfacing Realitis DX with Seltek Voice Manager PC.

Reaching into the back of my mind now......I think you use the CIL output from the DX in the same way as you would've with the InDex and there is setting on the Seltek to determine the switch type. Not sure if that is any help ??

RE: Interfacing Realitis DX with Seltek Voice Manager PC.

You can check valid CIL data is coming out by hooking up a terminal emulator to CIL port.

Also RCIL command will resume CIL if it's been disabled in the past.

Hi both,

Thanks for your help - greatly appreciated.

Yes, CIL is present - what speed does it need to be? - presently set at 1200 Baud on the Realitis.

I am mainly interested in how to set the Seltek software to suit the Siemens switch.

Very best regards,

Telecoman.

Speed of CIL data depends on software version. IIRC it's 1200 on older software & 9600 on newer, no parity or stop bits.

CIL data can also be output on the ethernet port, parameters in the ASMI interface determine the destination the data is sent to. Unfortunately it's unicast rather than broadcast.
