Assign user jobs to go through subsystem

I have been asked to set a user up so that their jobs will run through QBATCH1 instead of QBATCH where everyone else's go.  Using V05R03M00 iSeries.  Can someone help me with this?  Said he needs level 3 in QBATCH1.  Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!!!

RE: Assign user jobs to go through subsystem

I believe that if you create a new job description (or copy one and edit it) with priority= 3 and choose QBATCH1, then attach that jobd to the user profile, that should do it.

RE: Assign user jobs to go through subsystem

Thanks for responding Mark.  Turns out all I really needed to do was added more threads to the job queue.  I will keep yours though in the event we will ever need it in the future.  Thanks again!!!
