Quark 8 users?

Quark 8 users?

Quark 8 users?

(OP)
Sadly, it seems the site is showing little interest these days. We've upgraded to Quark 8 and now looking for a place to solve problems. So, I'm asking, are there any Quark 8 people out there who have worked with it for awhile? I'll keep checking Quark forums as well.

Thanks

RE: Quark 8 users?

We just got Quark 7.3 and downloadded and installed Quark 8 at the same time.  The people using it (I'm just a lowly IT guy) say that people are still finding the bugs in 7.3 and most folks haven't gone bleeding edge v8.

RE: Quark 8 users?

...i know of font management issues with extensis plugin for auto-activation, i believe extensis are making people purchase a full upgrade to a fusion update later this year sometime to be able for fusion to work fully with quark 8...

...i work in a busy prepress environment in the UK and nobody has supplied any quark 8 files to us yet so have yet to experience quark 8 in a production environment...

...i am however anticipating more indesign cs4 files very soon as oposed to quark 8 files...

Andrew
