PSQL Summit v10 Database Setup

I am trying to create new databases for my Accpac installation  but I come across an inactive "Finish" button and therefore cannot complete the creation process. I find this very strange as the screen still looks pretty much the same as prior versions of Pervasive except for the two options under the Metadata section of the screen.

What is it that I could be missing here? I am running this task on the Server (as Administrator) running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition with SP2.

RE: PSQL Summit v10 Database Setup

I haven't seen anything like that.  Usually an inactive button means that some information is either missing or incorrect.
Have you tried creating a new database pointing to either the Demodata data files (and DDFs) or an empty directory?

Hello Mirtheil,

For some reason, I was able to crreate the databases eventually. I unchecked the "Create DSN" option and the "Finish" button became active. But this was for one database. I didn't have to do that for the subsequent databases but I was able to create them with the option still checked.

Thanks all the same.

RE: PSQL Summit v10 Database Setup

If unchecking the "Create DSN" option allowed it to complete, you probably already had a DSN with the same name as the DBName.
