Running External application ASAP HELP

What i have is a prgoram that is used to store data for pictures. Now they want to be able to scan an image save a thumbnail from inside the foxpro application. Easy Photo has a application and a activex componet I want to install into a button, but I do not know how to create a button to run an activex or external application, all I haev done is internal buttons. So I guess my question is how do I run and application or activex componet ? I know how to install an activex but what i need is the activex to open on a button comand everytime not just once. Please help

Did seem to want to work, my database is SQL and I am storing to a field that sql has defined as image , what do i need the foxpro to see it as to make this work, it says data miss match on the error for this
