Questions concerning fox pro

(OP)
I am considering buying foxpro to develop some applications, I have seen the Visual studio package from MS that includes foxpro.  Is there only one version of the software, or is visual foxpro different?

Thanks

RE: Questions concerning fox pro

Visual FoxPro 6.0 comes "bundled" in Visual Studio 6.0 (the current version of VS). However, VFP is now out of what will be Visual Studio .NET, and VFP 7.0 was released a couple months ago and it is the current version.

So you'll need to decide if you want the VS 6.0 bundle to get a good deal on a number of software developer tools, or just buy VFP 7.0. Either will work, it just depends on your needs, expectations and "wallet".
