Internet Explorer 7 and PAC files

Hello everyone,

Can anyone throw any light on any compatibility issues between ie7 and PAC files.

We use a proxy server when accessing the internet (in this case Messagelabs AV scanning) and on XP/ie6 the PAC file works fine.  However - the same PAC file on a Vista/ie7 machine and the PAC file appears to have no effect - and the internet connection is straight out to the internet.

Does anyone have a PAC file working fine on ie7?  Is the syntax for entering the PAC file in the setup of ie7 the same as ie6?  (file://c:\proxy\proxy.pac).

Any help would be great :)
