What kind of throughput (Gb/hr) should I be seeing?

What kind of throughput (Gb/hr) should I be seeing?

Just upgraded everything on my Arcserve/Novell backup server:
Used to be: AS6.1 SP3/CPQS710/DLT80 tapes
Is now: AS6.6 SP4/AIC78U2/DLT80 Tapes

Throughput used to be about 10Gb/hr.
Has now dropped to around 3Gb/hr.

User the Disable Write test to determine fault area--seems to be SCSI chain.  Can't point to any troubles.....please help!
