It seems the backup server database is down, but i am still recording.  How do I turn the backup server database up without rebooting?  I checked services, but I dont see it?  Help!!

RE: error 836 on supervisor and 1602 on CLS

Hi There, What version applications are you using? Is the error 'Backup Server Process is down'? If so this is an application issue, the apps do not report the correct fault via Supervision. Probably worth check you have the latest service packs installed.

RE: error 836 on supervisor and 1602 on CLS

What alert did u see in Nice Supervision?

If it's "Backup Server Process is Down" u can restart it by executing the file itself. (Default Path: D\NTLogger\Logger\Bin\bsrv.exe)
