Flash & Javascript--newbie question

Flash & Javascript--newbie question

Flash & Javascript--newbie question

(OP)
I've got a movie that I want to use javascript on...I've got the script that pops up a text description based on the link.  Do I need to specify something in Flash so that it will work or can I just code it in HTML?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Robyn

RLB

RE: Flash & Javascript--newbie question

see u have to specify the instance name for the object if the script uses one.

RE: Flash & Javascript--newbie question

you will have to pass the URL of the javascript file to the movie. you will also have to spcify all the parameters that the javascript is going to use. use the FS command to do this.
