I am fairly new to the software so please excuse my ignorance. I am automating a process that at the end I would like to pass parms to crystal and have it generate and email a report on it's own. Is this possible? If so, can someone point me in the right direction to research this? I am on Crystal Reports XI if that makes a difference. Thanks.

You want to look at a tool that can execute and e-mail CRYSTAL reports.
CRYSTAL REPORT SERVER XI is the basic BOBJ product that can do this work. You can get 5 named user licenses for US$2,495 (ENDS JUNE 30, 2008).
There are also a number of 3rd Party "REPORT MANAGER" tools that can do this listed on Ken's site...

I don't want to get third party software. I'm just wonder if it is possible to code this. Like send the Business Objects server parms to kick off the Report and email after completion. I know you can schedule the reports to run through the Business Objects Server, but can I trigger it to run when I want? Schedules won't work for me.
Yes, you can use the JAVA or .NET SDKs to build your own tool.
