D816 Volume Problems

D816 Volume Problems

D816 Volume Problems

(OP)
There was a bad CO Line position on this unit about 1 year ago so I moved the Line to CO position 3. This worked great....until now.
The customer is experiencing problems with being heard on an outside call. The customer can hear fine.....just the outside caller has a volume problem. This is on all lines and on all sets. I checked the incoming lines at the demarc and they are working good.
I want to change out the 4 CO Line card. How involved is this, other than the standard static precautions and power down etc? Will I Lose programming when I do this?

RE: D816 Volume Problems

Upon further investigation, the first 4 lines are on the motherboard  and it is decision time....buy a new KSU (Norstar which I like better) or a used D816 Hybrid. The choice now depends on what the customer wants to spend.

RE: D816 Volume Problems
