Block FACEBOOK at certian times ?

Block FACEBOOK at certian times ?

Block FACEBOOK at certian times ?

(OP)
Hey all,

The Facebook bug seems to have arrived at my office and i have been asked to only ALLOW www.FACEBOOK.com during lunch time (13.00 - 14.00) and all out of ours times other than 09.00 - 17.00.

We have a Pro 2040 with Content and in enhanced mode.

I have spent around 5 days trying and failed big time.

First question is, IS it possible ?

Second is, if you dont mind would you please provide me with exact instructions?

Please remember :

www.facebook.com
only allow at lunch time, and never during work hours which is 09.00 to 17.00, all other times its to be open.

Thanks once again.

Thanks

Roger

RE: Block FACEBOOK at certian times ?

You should be able to block using access rules.  Go to
Firewall - access rules - add

on the general tab, give the facebook IP address and which internal addresses to block it from.

On the advanced tab, give the times to allow/deny.

you will have to add one rule to deny from 9:00-17:00 and another to allow 13:00-14:00
