I am using PSP XI, and in order for me to print a design it needs to be saved as the format Freehand version 8 or illustrator.  I did not see these formats, is there anyway i can dowload them? it is crucial! thanks!

Those are Adobe proprietary formats, there is no reason a Corel product would have options to save as proprietary formats from another company.

You can try saving as some common format such as JPG, or PNG even TIF. I'm sure Illustrator or Freehand can open those formats.
