Counting objects

Is there an easy way to count objects? I have a large telecom project and looking for a way to count the triangles or highlight them all to make sure I account for all of them.

AutoCAD Elecrical 2004

RE: Counting objects

Hi GMgerry,

Are these "triangles" blocks?  Need a little more detail...

RE: Counting objects

If they are blocks, there's the Express Tools comand "bcount".

RE: Counting objects

yes these are blocks

RE: Counting objects

Hi GMgerry,

If for some reason you can't use the Express tools bcount routine, you can just use the select and then the filter routine which is built into AutoCAD.

RE: Counting objects

BCOUNT works. It is not in the drop downs so you need to type it. Sorry I am new school on AC.

Thanks everyone you just saved me hours.
