Increasing numbers on cards

Increasing numbers on cards

Increasing numbers on cards

(OP)
Hi there,

I want to create a couple of hunderd invitation cards. The layout of all these cards are all the same, but every card must have an unique number.
The printer which will be used for the output is A4 size. I think 6 cards can be placed on one A4.

I've tried to make on a masterpage a layout containing these cards with linked text boxes for the numbers. This works fine for one page, but the link stops at the end of the page. When I want to link the last text box of page 1 to the first text box on page 2 all the links of page 2 are broken.

Is there a way to make al text boxes link to each other?

Greetz,

RE: Increasing numbers on cards

...with the link tool, select the link icon top left of the master page...

...from there select first text box, then the next and so on until the last box is linked on the master page...
