Peachtree 2004 User Security issue

Peachtree 2004 User Security issue

(OP)
I have Peachtree Accounting 2004.  I'm the only user, set up with full security access to the whole application.  However, I just added a new checking account and want to add it to my custom Today Screen that I have set to open when I log-in.   When I go to the "Customize this page" link and select the page I want to change, it gives me an error message:

Your security settings do not allow you access to this area of Peachtree Accounting.  Log in as another user or contact your Peachtree adminstrator to gain access to this area.

Well, I'm the only user set up in the system, I am the administrator.  At some point in the past I customized this page to start with.  Why isn't it allowing me to do it now?  I can't figure out what changed.

I tried setting up a new user with full administrative rights as well, but I get the same error message.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Harry

FYI - I also deleted all Users so that there is no security on the Company file and I still get the same message.

I'm looking forward to other suggestions!

Harry
