Is it possible to export a DTS package to Visual Source Safe?

RE: Export DTS Package to SourceSafe

Save the package as a SSO object, then import it as binary into sourcesafe.

I do this and I also save the package as a visual basic format and store that one on vss also.

Is it possible to check out from VSS and place in SQL Server DTS folder?  Or is this a manual process?
