hi everybody,
i have ip office 406, with 4.0 software version, dungle and license SIP, and i want to configure trunk SIP.
i've made a test while basing on documentation, but this test did not succeed,
i want to know what i have to do exactly? and if i need meadow-necessary to succeed this.

thanks a lot, it's urgent

More information required,

1. Who is the ITSP?
2. What router are you using?
3. Did you run the STUN client?
4. Are you connecting through the WAN port?
5. Have you setup an appropriate IP route?

And all this before you add a SIP Line.

2. i'm using a simple ADSL router to access to internet
3. i'm connecting through the ethernet port
4. i've added an IP route in the IP-office
5. but i don't have the STUN IP address,

i dont have line SIP , but i have a subscription SIP. i have a telephone SIP witch i connect to my network LAN ,configure it( the user authentification SIP, the Password authentification, and an IP address), and i can make a call.

If you don't have a STUN server you can use the "Open Internet" setting under STUN. You also need your firewall to route all traffic to port 5060 to your IPO if this is not on an external IP adress.

Ok, i'll make a test , but i don't have any firewall externe, i want to be sure about the material that i use to do this test !!!
i have an IP-OFFICE 406, ADSL router, dungle and license SIP, ITSP address, login and password subscription SIP, must i have something else???

please help me

If you use an ASDL router does your IPO then have an external IP adress?

my ADSL router is 192.168.1.1 , i don't have STAUN address and i tried to use the "Open Internet" setting under STUN, but the test failed.
if you have any document that i can base on to make this test (SIP trunk in IP OFFICE), or, if you have an example of the configuration of this. i'll be very grateful.

please help me, it's very urgent.

Thanks TLPETER for this valuable link, i've been DE-SIP-SPERATED for an Avaya reference guide for the well-promised and well-announced Sip trunk connectivity.

i would also like to form a FAQ on this "ip office sip trunking" for any interested

thanks tLpeter for this link, i'm very grateful.
but my problem with configuring of SIP trunk in IP-OFFICE is still there, i have all the elements to succeed this test , except the STUN ip address and an public address for my IPO, maybe, is this the real problem?,
also, i'm using a simple adsl router, perhaps i must use a router that support a voice over IP, ... i'm lost
i think that i don't have a configuration problem , but i don't use the good elements, or i miss something other...
if you can help me more :)

TC, if you are set up correctly to use the SIP line can you try the following:

Open SSA, open Trunks, Click the SIP line , click Trace All,
Make an incoming call to the SIP line and make an outgoing call using the SIP.

Only do 1 of each call type and copy & paste the entries into the reply.

SIP can be a pain in the BlX if you make 1 simple mistake somewhere it doesn't work fullstop. point is to elimate areas of problems.
