Checked it out. The new Express Lab is useful as is the watermarking action. It will save me a bit of time. I like the black and white 'filter' too. It's a bit like Picasa's black and white which I thought was great. If you do a lot of scanning then the crop to new images will save you a bit of time if you scan several things in at once. The new makeover items are interesting. I find the eye dropper to be a bit flakey, acting in the same way as the toothbrush and lightening parts of the face when obviously it shouldn't. You get this problem when the person has really pink eyes and I think X2 can't tell where the eye ends and the skin starts. I found I had to select the eye first. I'd rather use dodge and desaturate.
But the Thinner function is funky. It works really well and subtly. I used it on a photo I'd taken of a pregnant lady. You couldn't tell anything had been done until you looked at the original. Of course you can take it too far!!!
Still checking out the other improvements.
