Not all features are working from a remote site phone

(OP)
I am using a NETGEAR firewall to establish a Point-to-Point vpn back to our main office. I have a 3102 phone on this remote office. The phone works and it is three digit dial back to the main office. However, from the main office, we cannot see if the remote phone is in use. Other features like Conference does not work either and another remtoe phone cannot call the other remote phone.

Does anybody have a suggestion on how to fix this issue?

Thanks,
Steve

RE: Not all features are working from a remote site phone

It is a limitation, if you are using low end router's they do not support multicast packets which conference, paging and lights on the phone require.  Here is a program that will allow to you use multi cast on low- mid range router. http://www.nbxmulticast.com that link will help you better understand.

RE: Not all features are working from a remote site phone

We have done this by setting up GRE tunneling on our routers.  Works fine after that.
