We get this error message when running one of our DOS apps on Win NT 4.0 using Clarion 2.1. The funny thing is that this particular error message would only show up on most of our systems in use but NOT all! Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you!

RE: *** Exception 0D : General protection (XTRACE.TXT)

Could you clarify if this shows up on most Clarion written systems running on NT 4.0 or most NT 4.0 system with the same Clarion program?

RE: *** Exception 0D : General protection (XTRACE.TXT)

It's actually a DOS version of the Clarion program that we run on NT 4.0 we are having problems with. In other words, we run a DOS app on NT 4.0 and some of our "registers" (PC's) would come up with this exception error. Thanks much for your feedback(s).

RE: *** Exception 0D : General protection (XTRACE.TXT)

good day, have you ever solved the problem you encountered regarding the "Illegal operation...". Can you pls. explain to me how you'd done it 'cause right now i'm encountering the same error message.
thank you very much.
