I was wondering why one of the custom locators I wrote wasn't working when I used the Firefox Selenium IDE to run an existing test. The cause was that I was using the echo command in the test (and this is not supported in the IDE). It turned out that I was also doing the same thing "behind the scenes" in my custom locator - so needed to remove this functionality.

So - don't expect to run a test that uses echo in the IDE!

Cheers,
Jeff
