GIMP Crashes on start-up

I've been using GIMP for quite some time now, but I don't understand this: After my computer got wiped out by misjudging, I tried reinstalling GIMP and GTK+ onto Windows. The installation was fine, but when I try and open GIMP, it crashes when trying to load the fonts when ever I try and open it.

Error Signature:
AppName: gimp-2.2.exe AppVer: ModName: freetype6.dll
ModVer: Offset: 0000ea55
