We have an existing Exchange 2000 server that works fine. We installed an exchange 2007 server in coexistence to that server.
We can send and receive mail great from the 2000 server but we can only receive mail on the 2007. When we try to send mail from the 2007 server to 2003 server, the message gets stuck in queue.
We want the 2000 server to the smtp server for now and all mail to be sent out through it and not the 2007 server.
When we try to send to an external address we get:
"A matching connector cannot be found to route the external recipient"
We added a send connector of * but that seemed to take over both mail servers and all mail was trying to leave through the 2007 server. We took that off and dont have any connectors at the moment
When we try to send to an internal address we get:
Primary target IP address responded with "451 5.7.3 Cannot achieve Exchange Server authentication."
Anyone have any clues?
