I just installed Sidekick 98 on a Windows Vista Ultimate OS and all previous files were restored. Everything can be seen from the "To Do"'s to the "Calendar". Cursors appear allowing me to type in the "Events" and "Calendar" areas but no cursors appear allowing me to type in the "To Do" and the "Calls" sections. Some of the previous items in those sections disappear and re-appear when I click on an adjacent line. Please send me some words of wisdom as to how to correct these anomalies.:))

All the best.

I know it doesn't help your current predicament but i think that a quick search through this forum will show you that, unfortunately, Sidekick is brain dead from XP onward.
I still use it for lookup history but no longer rely on it. Instead, I have thrown my hat in with EssentialPim (EPim)Spend a little time with EPim and I think it may solve your problems in the future.

Dear JFPF,

I will answer here as well as it helps to keep the discussion public.

I am afraid that the only words of wisdom are that it could be your graphic display, try it on a lower resolution.

We are only coming to grips with Vista and you are the first person I have heard of running the ultimate version.
Do you have Aero effects switched on because that may be the cause.

Let me know how you get on.

Regards
Jim
