Oprn office on SCO open server

Would any one have experience installing open office on
SCO openserver 5.07 ?. Are there any compatibility
issues? Are there any other alternatives for Word Processing?
                          Thank you for the advise.

RE: Oprn office on SCO open server

I don't think there are any binary releases for SCO. (You can blame SCO's attitude problem for that!) That means you'll have to compile from source. If you can't manage that, you could have a look at AbiWord, or check the Wikipedia list at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_word_processors .
