Fix Netscape Communicator 4.x Address Book pab.na2

(OP)
I was searching how to fix a corrupted address book and I've found in this thread258-719505: PAB.na2 a person who posted the same problem. But there was not a satisfactory answer.
Then, a friend of mine found out a solution, so I thought it would be a good idea to write down here what we did.
Our PAB.NA2 file became completely corrupted hanging up the whole Communicator. Moreover this file had grown to 3 MB.

BEST SOLUTION: Move the PAB.NA2 file to another folder, when you open Netscape a new PAB.NA2 is created. Then use the address book option "Import" from "Communicator" and select the corrupted file. The old data will be imported in the new file. I recovered 1000 email addresses, the file size now is about 250KB and it's working really fine. After that you can erase the corrupted file.

PD: sorry about my english.
PD2: maybe nobody continues using Nestcape Communicator 4.x...
