Front End Database? Dial by Name...

Front End Database? Dial by Name...

Front End Database? Dial by Name...

(OP)
We have (2) Messaging Solutions in place today. Octel 250 with Interchange and MM 3.1. (MAS/MSS)

When we enter the MM and press * to spell by name, we don't get the folks that are on the Octel. If we create a message in MM and then spell by name that way, we get the list of Octel users...

Are these (2) different databases that the names are pulling from?

Thanks,
CJH

RE: Front End Database? Dial by Name...

When you press * you are telling the system you want to dial a user on that system the Octel is a remote system and can only be accessed from within your mailbox not by an outside caller
