How can I do a raw backup of a disk device using Networker?

How can I do a raw backup of a disk device using Networker?

How can I do a raw backup of a disk device using Networker?

(OP)
Does anyone know how to raw backup a disk device using Networker 5.1/Solstice Backup 5.1?

I have raw Oracle partitions that I need to backup.  I am currently using a script to put Oracle into hot mode and dd'ing it to tape.

Thanks a head of time.

RE: How can I do a raw backup of a disk device using Networker?

Put a .nsr file in the directory containing the raw devices.
Ours looks like this:-

nsr file

<< /dev/vx/rdsk/datadg >>
rawasm: fn_cache0 fn_cache1 fn_cache2 fn_cache3 fn_oracle_db0 fn_oracle_db1 fn_oracle_db2 fn_oracle_db3 fn_oracle_rl0 fn_oracle_rl1 fn_oracle_sys0 fn_oracle_tr0 fn_oracle_udb0 fn_permanent_db0 fn_permanent_rl0 fn_sec_db0 fn_sec_rl0 fn_transient_db0 fn_transient_rl0 fnsw oracle
