Printing to network printer

I can hook to a server through Remote desktop and print Approach reports fine - but cannot print reports when on the server - This happens with one Approach file - all other Approach files on the server print fine from both the server and Remote Desktop - Any suggestions ? Using Approach 9.8.1 and XP Professional -

RE: Printing to network printer

Do you get an error message? What happens when you try to print with this APR file? I need more to go on!

Thanks for the reply -

I had the problem wrong -- When I open a particular APR file directly it works and prints fine - but when I open it from another file with an "open" macro it won't print at all - It acts like it wants to print but just hangs up - Any ideas ??

RE: Printing to network printer

I do not see any difference between opening an APR file directly and opening one with a macro. The PRINT operation should not be affected, in my opinion.

You may want to check to see what default printer is being used in the APR with the OPEN in it and see if it is not the same as the one you are trying to print to.
